For New Umpires:
2. Initiate a background check
2a. Get your vision checked and this form signed by your doctor.
3. Take the on-line Provisional test, using the 2011 Friend at Court (Link to FAC at USTA.com))
3a. Optionally, but recommended, also take the USTA Officials test, using the 2010 Friend at Court.
NOTE: You will know only whether you pass or fail. When you pass, you must bring the test, the answer sheet, and the certificate of test completion to class.
4. Register for class by completing the registration form
5. Request a Nucula account (Request AFTER January 1).
 
For Returning Umpires:
1. Ensure that your USTA membership is current
2. Initiate a background check if you have not done so
2a. Get your vision checked and this form signed by your doctor.
3. Take the on-line tests for the classes you’ll attend, using the 2010 Friend at Court
NOTE: You will know only whether you pass or fail. When you pass, you must bring the test, the answer sheet and certificate of test completion to class.
4. Register for class on Nucula
