The USTA Missouri Valley Section is a not-for-profit organization covering a five-state region of Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma and parts of Illinois. As one of the 17 Sections of the USTA, the USTA Missouri Valley has more than 22,500 individual members and 450 organizational members. The USTA Missouri Valley offers recreational and competitive tennis for all ages and abilities.

Plaza Tennis Center Recognized As One of Nation's Best

National Indian Tennis Championships - Topeka, Kan. (May 23-26)

The North American Indian Tennis Association (NAITA) will host its annual national championship tournament, May 23-26 at Kossover Tennis Center in Topeka, Kan. This event, open to all Native Americans with at least 1/4 degree Tribal affiliation, is the largest annual gathering of Native American tennis players in the United States, and a unique celebration of heritage and tennis. Fournier, St. Louis Juniors Go Deep at Interscholastics Tourney

Taylor Fournier, Chicara Kidera, Alexandra Lehman and Andrew Mellow each posted strong results at the USTA Interscholastic Championships - East. The event was played May 3-5 at the Lexington Tennis Club in Lexington, Ky.

Section CTC Team Nabs Second in Indianapolis

A team of 15 USTA Missouri Valley boys and girls juniors competed May 3-4 at the Competition Training Center (CTC) Regional Challenge in Indianapolis, Ind., finishing second in a four-team competition comprised of USTA Midwest, USTA Southwest and USTA Texas squads.
