The St. Louis District Tennis Association and the St. Louis Association of Tennis Officials will be offering 2012 classes the weekend of February 25-26.

The USTA officials class for both experienced and new(er) officials will be held on Saturday, February 25, starting at 8 am at the Chesterfield Athletic Club.  The school will include both classroom and on court instruction.  All provisional umpires will be required to attend the on court portion of the class.  The cost of the class is $25 and includes lunch.   The class will conclude around 2:30 pm.  Please contact Kim Simon at KSimonbook@aol.com if you are interested in attending.

New to the District: The SLDTA and SLATO will be offering a Chair Academy for officials interested in improving their chair skills and who desire to work ITA events.   We are pleased to be bringing in Section TE, Verne Weber, to teach the school.  The class will be held on February 25, starting at 3:00 pm at the Chesterfield Athletic Club.  The school will include both classroom and on court instruction.  The cost for the class is $10.  Since the class will be limited to no more than twelve students, priority will be given those with some chair and/or ITA experience.   Please contact Kim Simon if you are interested in attending.

ITA and Referee Schools: The ITA and Referee Schools will be held on Sunday, February 26, at the St. Louis District Office.  The ITA school will begin at 9:00 am, followed by the Referee School at 11:00 am.  There is no charge for these classes.  Please contact Kim Simon if you are interested in attending.

Important Information: You MUST have completed your online tests for each class (There is not a chair academy test.) before arriving at class.  You MUST bring proof of test completion with you to each class.
